Senior Shootout to be Broadcast July 11th
The Monmouth Review-Atlas Senior Shootout returns
to Monmouth College on Saturday July 11th. The girls game will
tip off at 4:00, followed by the boys game. Stay tuned for a complete
list of rosters. WMOI/WRAM/WAIK Sports Director Beau Spencer will
provide play-by-play with analysis from Joe Roderick.

Bertelsen to play at Southern Illinois University
The sophomore pitching sensation chose SIU over Bradley
and Western Illinois University. Katie spoke with WMOI/WRAM/WAIK

College Area Football Recruits Monmouth
football coach Steve Bell has confirmed with WMOI/WRAM/WAIK
radio of several area recruits for the upcoming season.
Donning Scots uniforms will be a pair of Galesburg Silver
Streaks in Offensive Lineman Jordan Sadiq and Punter Jeremy
Johnson, along with former Streak standout Shea Sibley,
who finished his high school career at Quincy Notre Dame.
Other area standouts heading to Bobby Woll Field will
be Logan Bowman (Knoxville), James Lauber (IVC), Zach
Pritchard (Canton), Matt Dawson and Colton Welch (Aledo),
Jeremy Berchtold (Stark County), Daniel Patterson (West
Prairie), and Shane Glaser (North Fulton).

Farm had a three-hit day scoring once, and knocking
in a run. Tim Chick earned the win, pitching seven innings
and striking out five.

while Morton scored all three runs in the top of the
seventh inning. Ryan Cheek pitched a complete game for
the win. Dalton Davis had an RBI single which proved
to be the game-winner.
