(Galesburg, IL)  –  Beginning on September 26th, 10 intersections in Galesburg will be getting flashing yellow arrow signals.  Thats according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.  I-DOT also has announced that the reconstruction of the southbound left-turn lane at the intersection of U.S. Route 150 and Carl Sandburg Drive will begin.  Motorists should be aware and alert to late closures as well as changing traffic patterns.  I-DOT says that the road work should be finished by the end of October.
