(Galesburg, IL)  –  This week, members of 4-H clubs will be celebrating National 4-H Week.  4-H is a voluntary, informal education program for young people who are between 8 and 18 years of age as of September 1st.  As the youth development program of the nation's 109 land grant universities and the Cooperative Extension System. 4-H fosters an innovative, “learn by doing” approach with proven results.  National 4-H Week falls between October 7th and the 13th.
