The Churchill 8th grade lost a tough match against Rock Island Edison Tuesday 25-20, 21-25 and 26-24. Kylee Townsell led all servers with 10 points. Kaylah Townsell and Ellen Junk had eight points each. Saige Milroy added six points and Kennedy Cash had five points. Kaylah Townsell led with 10 kills. Ellen Junk and Kennedy Cash had three kills each. The 8th grade Blue Streaks are 11-5 on the year.

" It was a tough match and the team never gave up. At one point the girls went back and forth 17 times to win a volley. You should have seen it!" said coach Theresa Bice.

The 7th grade prevailed 25-12, 25-11.

Rylee Chockley had 11 service points, Megan Lingafelter had nine service points Taishae Wallace had seven service points.

Churchill Volleyball ends their season at Kewanee Central Thursday.
