(Galesburg, IL)  –  Police responded to a well being check last week and found that the individual they were checking on was dead inside his home.  Police say they discovered 59-year old John Dave Adams dead after responding to the concerns of family members.   Members of the family broke into his home after he had missed a day of work.  Galesburg police responded to the home Wednesday at just before 1 and met with Joshua and Brandi Adams, the mans son and daughter in law.  An autopsy report revealed that Adams died of asphyxiation.
