(Galesburg, IL) -- One of two men who admitted to a the burglary of the Purple Hanger Resale Shop earlier this year was in Knox County Circuit Court last week. 22-year old Michael Tory Watkins of Galesburg entered a guilty plea to a charge of possession of burglary tools on Thursday. He was then sentenced to 18- months of prison time as well as a year on parole. As a result of a plea deal, a charges of burglary and theft were dismissed. Watkins as well as 19-year old George Anthony Woods, also of Galesburg, were arrested in late July for the burglary. |
