(Abingdon, IL)  --  The Abingdon City Council has approved the 2012-2013 tax levy ordinance.  The total levy that was approved is for $256,532 and includes the general corporate tax levy of $65,351.  That means that the levy that was approved is close to the same level as the current one.  Alderman on the city council approved the 2012-2013 tax levy ordinance by an 8-0 vote.
