The Monmouth-Roseville Jr. High basketball teams split with Churchill Thursday night. 

The 7th grade Titans improved to 5-3 with a 29-12 victory. Jordan Cheek led the Titans with 18 points, Austin Hammond scored 4 points and Lane Frieden added 3 points. 

The 8th grade Titans battled with Churchill, but fell 33-31 to move to 5-3 on the season. Caleb Empson led the Titans with 18 points, Ethan Sikorski scored 8 points and Casey Crum added 3 points.

Monmouth-Roseville will travel to Mercer County on Monday for a 5:30 game.
