(Galesburg, IL)  --  A California man who was caught with cannabis in his luggage last month  County Circuit Court last week.  While in court, 26-year old Jeremy M. Tegen told the court last Thursday that the cannabis he had was used to treat his cancer.  Tegen entered a guilty plea to charges of unlawful possession of cannabis.  He was then sentenced on Thursday to 90 days of jail time and was given two years of probation.  Tegen was given credit for the 34-days he had already served and will only have 11 days yet to serve because of getting day for day credit.
