(Galesburg, IL)  --  Knox County will be taking part in a pilot program that will allow news cameras and microphones to be in the courthouse.  Knox County will be one of 25 counties that will be taking part in the pilot program.  The initial application was submitted by former 9th Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Gregory McClintock.  He retired from the bench in November.  His replacement chose for the program to start in Knox County and then expand to the other counties in the curcuit. The other counties in the 9th Judicial Circuit other than Knox County are Fulton, Warren, Hancock, Henderson and McDonough County.
