Bears To Interview Dennison, Bevell
(Lake Forest, IL) -- The Bears are reportedly seeking interviews with a pair of offensive coordinators. ESPN reports Chicago has received permission to interview Rick Dennison of the Texans and Seattle's Darrell Bevell. The Bears met with eight candidates last week and talked to Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy on Sunday. Sources also reported to ESPN that the Bears interviewed Montreal Alouettes coach Marc Trestman yesterday.

NHL Set To Open Camps This Weekend; Games To Begin January 19th
(Undated) -- The NHL has reportedly set tentative start dates for training camp and regular season games. CBC reports the NHL sent out a memo Sunday night to teams saying they anticipate training camps will open sometime between Saturday and next Monday. The report also said the league is hoping to be in a position to start a 48-game regular season beginning Saturday, January 19th.
Notre Dame Hoopsters Top Cincinnati
(Cincinnati, OH) -- Jerian Grant scored 19 points as 16th-ranked Notre Dame topped 20th-ranked Cincinnati 66-60 last night at Fifth Third Arena. Scott Martin added 12 points for the Fighting Irish, who improved to 14-and-1 on the season and 2-and-0 in Big East play. The Irish return home to face UConn on Saturday.
DePaul Plays At UConn Tonight
(Storrs, CT) -- DePaul continues Big East action tonight at UConn. The Blue Demons grabbed their first conference win on Saturday at Providence to move to 1-and-1 in league play. DePaul is 10-and-5 overall. UConn enters tonight's game at 10-and-3 with an 0-and-1 Big East record.

(Champaign, IL) -- Illinois faces a huge early-season Big Ten test tomorrow night when it hosts 10th-ranked Minnesota at Assembly Hall. The 13th-ranked Illini improved to 14-and-2 with a 1-and-1 Big Ten mark on Saturday with a win over Ohio State. Minnesota comes in with a 14-and-1 overall record and at 2-and-0 in conference play.
