The Galesburg Silver Streaks overcame a sluggish first half and pulled away for a 69-49 victory over the IVC Grey Ghosts at John Thiel Gymnasium.  The Streaks led just 23-21 at halftime and at one point were just 2-12 from the free throw line. Jessica Lieber, who led all scorers with 28 points, hit 3 treys in the 3rd quarter to help the Streaks gain control.  Galesburg hit 12, 3-pointers in the victory and finished 19-31 from the free throw line.  Haley Kelso had 9, Sharron Diggins 8, Chloe Anderson 7 and Casey Williams had 6, all in the final quarter for the Streaks.  Galesburg improved to (13-6) overall. IVC fell to (6-11).
Hallie Heinz led IVC with 18 points.
The Galesburg Sophomores routed IVC, 81-45, behind 18 points from Shayli Florine.
The Streaks travel to Moline Thursday night for a Western Big Six matchup. A game which can be heard on 1590 WAIK and streaming online at 1590WAIK.com.
