The West Central Heat led 28-19 at halftime and went on to win by 10 points to get the Lincoln Trail Conference win over the Red Storm. United got to within 5 points at 34-29 after the third quarter horn sounded but West Central put the game away with a 17-12 advantage in the 4th.
The high scorer for the Heat was Maria Steck with 20 points and Alexis Ensminger added 17.
Leading the Red Storm offensively was Jen Price and Cassandra Ellison, who each had 10 points.
