At ROWVA High School, the Tigers broke open a close game at the half with a 25-5 third quarter to post a 57-42 win over the Princeville Lady Princes. Princeville led 16-9 after the first quarter horn but scored a mere 12 total points in the second and third quarters to trail by 20 points heading to the 4th quarter and although the Tigers were outscored by 7 in the 4th, ROWVA held on for the tournament game win. Haylee Swanson led the Tigers with 21 points as she canned four 3 pointers. Princeville was led by Brianna Gardner's 12 points. The Lady Princes were 3 of 15 from the foul line. ROWVA now advances to play Mercer County in the LTC tournament loser's bracket semi-finals at 7:30 tonight at tournament host, United High School.
