>>ConAgra Employee Had Cocaine In System When He Died (Edwardsville, IL) -- The man who fell to his death while working at ConAgra in Alton last August had cocaine in his system, according to the Madison County Coroner's office. A report indicates Jay Van Buskirk of Edwardsville lost his footing while stepping off a lift, falling about 60 to 70 feet. He had just ridden a "man-lift" from the 9th floor to the 5th floor break room when the incident happened. Buskirk was pronounced dead at the scene, suffering fatal head injuries in the fall.
>>Teen Identified In Bloomington Shooting Death (Bloomington, IL) -- Authorities have released the name of the 16-year old killed in Bloomington yesterday. Kuantrae 'Trae' Massey was shot at the Danbury Court Apartments, near his own home, just before 3:00 p.m. A police spokesman says neighbors originally called police to report a loud argument on Ginger Trail. Then, three young men were seen carrying a fourth to a car before speeding away from the apartment complex, heading toward a hospital. Police do not have the shooter in custody. Anyone with information about a possible suspect should call local authorities.
>>Man Exonerated For Attacking Elderly Woman (Joliet, IL) -- A Joliet man has been exonerated for attacking an elderly woman back in 2009, according to the "Herald News." Nakita Umer was accused of breaking into a home on Park Avenue, beating the 62-year old woman inside, stealing her cash, then sexually abusing her. The victim later picked Umer out of a lineup. But DNA tests have cleared him and charges were dismissed in a Will County Court earlier this month.
>>Class Back In Session At STL Business School (St. Louis, MO) -- Students at the Stevens Institute of Business & Arts in St. Louis are heading back to class today. It's their first day back after a part-time student opened fire on January 15th. Sean Johnson allegedly shot a financial aid advisor and then turned the gun on himself. Both men survived the shooting.
