In local college basketball on Saturday, the Carl Sandburg College women’s basketball team fell to the Elgin Spartans 63-49 in Elgin. Marysa Remick was the only Charger to reach double figures with 13. The Charger men beat the hosts 71-57. Seth Wickert led Sandburg with 16 points while Dylan Ervin added 15.
