Ex-Sox Pitcher Lands With Padres Organization
(San Diego, CA) -- Former White Sox pitcher Freddy Garcia has signed a minor-league deal with the San Diego Padres. According to the "Chicago Tribune," the agreement includes a $1.3-million base salary with another $1.25-million in incentives. Garcia posted a 5.20 ERA in just over 107 innings for the Yankees last season.
