LSU Upsets Missouri
(Baton Rouge, LA) -- Falling behind by 16 points early, Mizzou lost to LSU on Wednesday 73-70. Missouri guard Phil Pressey poured in 25 points in a losing effort. LSU shot 56-percent from the field while Mizzou shot a dismal 38-percent on the night. Missouri falls to 15-5 on the season and 4-3 in the SEC. LSU improves to 11-and-7 overall and 2-5 in conference.
Illinois Travels To Michigan St.
(East Lansing, MI) -- The Fighting Illini travel to East Lansing to play the Spartans tonight. This marks Illinois' second straight matchup against a ranked Big Ten opponent. Michigan State is 6-and-2 in the Big Ten and 17-and-4 overall while Illinois is 2-and-5 in conference and 15-and-6 on the season. The Spartans have won their last five games against the Illini in East Lansing.
Billikens Battle Butler

Mizzou and Arkansas St. Agree To Football Series
(Columbia, MO) -- The University of Missouri and Arkansas State have agreed to a home-and-home series in college football. Mizzou will host the first game later this year in Columbia, while the Red Wolves will host a 2015 matchup in Jonesboro. The two teams haven't played each other since 2005.
Light Shed On Ryan's Decision To Turn Down Rams
(St. Louis, MO) -- Reasons have surfaced on Rob Ryan's decision to turn down the Rams defensive coordinator job. Jim Thomas of the "St. Louis Dispatch" says according to a source, Ryan declined the position because he was hesitant to coach a 4-3 system and he wouldn't have been able to pick his assistants. The Rams are now reportedly targeting former Cleveland Browns defensive coordinator Dick Jauron for the job.
