Blackhawks Continue Road Swing Tomorrow
(San Jose, CA) -- The Blackhawks continue their six-game road trip tomorrow night in San Jose against the Sharks. Chicago is 1-0-and-2 thus far on the trip. The 'Hawks lost at Vancouver in a shootout on Friday before topping the Flames in Calgary Saturday. Chicago is 6-0-and-2 overall.
Illini Fall To Wisconsin
(Champaign, IL) -- Joseph Bertrand tallied 17 points and seven rebounds as the Illini fell to Wisconsin, 74-68. Brandon Paul chipped in with 13 points off the bench for Illinois, which dipped to 15-and-8 and 2-and-7 in the Big Ten. The Illini welcome third-ranked Indiana to town on Thursday.
Northwestern Takes Out Purdue
(Evanston, IL) -- Reggie Hearn had 26 points to lead Northwestern in a 75-60 win over Purdue on Saturday. Jared Swopshire and Dave Sobolewski each added 13 points for the 'Cats, who moved to 13-and-10 with a 4-and-6 Big Ten record. The Wildcats play at Iowa next Saturday
Notre Dame Tops DePaul In OT
(Rosemont, IL) -- Jack Cooley had 26 points and 16 rebounds to lead Notre Dame to a 79-71 win over DePaul in overtime on Saturday. Eric Atkins added 16 points for the Fighting Irish, who moved to 18-and-4 with a 6-and-3 Big East record. Cleveland Melvin had 13 points and 10 boards for the Blue Demons, who fell to 1-and-7 in conference and 10-and-11 overall. The Irish are at Syracuse this evening while DePaul hosts Villanova tomorrow.
