(Rushville, IL)  --  The Department of Human Services is expanding its Treatment and Detention Facility in Rushville.  It's the only facility in the state that houses sexually violent people.  The TDF is currently over capacity in Schuyler County, with 507 inmates in a facility designed to hold 482.  The 13-million dollar upgrade will alleviate overcrowding.  The two phase construction project will make room for about 300 more inmates.  The expansion is expected to boost the economy and create new construction jobs.
