Illinois Stuns #1 Indiana
(Champaign, IL) -- Tyler Griffey made a lay up as time expired to lift the Illinois Fighting Illini over the top-ranked Indiana Hoosiers, 74-72. He finished with 14 points and eight rebounds for Illinois, which improved to 16-and-8 and 3-and-7 in the Big Ten. D.J. Richardson tallied 23 points, while Brandon Paul helped out with 21 points in the win.
Mizzou Upset By Texas A&M
(College Station, TX -- Fabyon Harris hit a game-winning three-pointer with 11-point-1 seconds to play as Texas A&M scored a thrilling 70-68 win over number-20 Missouri on Thursday. Alex Oriakhi had 15 points and eight rebounds for the Tigers, who had won three of their last four. Mizzou, Illinois Sending Seven To NFL Combine
(Indianapolis, IN) -- Four former Illinois football players and three ex-Missouri Tigers have received invitations to the NFL combine February 23 to 26. Outside linebacker Zaviar Gooden is the Tigers' top draft prospect at this pre-draft scouting event. The Fighting Illini's top prospect is defensive end Michael Buchanan.
