(Mesa, AZ) -- Cubs pitcher Carlos Marmol reported to spring training camp yesterday in Mesa, Arizona. Marmol spoke to the media, saying he's angered by accusations of domestic abuse by a woman in the Dominican Republic. He claimed his innocence and sources tell ESPN that no charges have been filed against the closer.
Former Sox Reliever Ohman Signs With Nats
(Washington, DC) -- Former White Sox reliever Will Ohman has signed a minor league deal with the Nationals. Ohman's contract includes an invite to spring training. The 35-year-old pitched the last two years in Chicago, but pitched to a 6.41 ERA in 32 appearances for the Sox last season.
