Report: Bulls Forward Gibson Out With Sprained Knee

He suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of the Bulls loss Sunday night against the Thunder. Gibson averages about 22 minutes a night with around eight points, five rebounds and one block. He is a big part of Chicago's top-five ranked defense.

(Scottsdale, AZ) -- The White Sox scored seven runs in the eighth inning as they pulled out a 9-9 tie with the Giants in Scottsdale. Seth Loman smacked a three-run homer in the eighth for the Pale Hose, who are now 1-0-and-2 in exhibition play. The White Sox face the Rangers today in Surprise.

(Indianapolis, IN) -- The draft stock of Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o [[ MAN-tye TAY-oh ]] may be taking a hit at the NFL Combine. Te'o posted a 40-yard dash time of 4.82 seconds during Monday's linebacker workouts at Lucas Oil Stadium. Missouri's Zaviar Gooden posted the fastest time among linebackers at 4.47 seconds.
Irish Move Up In "USA Today" Poll

The Irish are now 20th following wins over Pittsburgh and Cincinnati last week. Notre Dame is now 22-and-6 on the season and 10-and-5 in Big East play. The Irish travel to 22nd-ranked Marquette on Saturday.
