Blues Blow Lead, Game To Kings
(Los Angeles, CA) -- The Blues carried a two-goal lead into the third, but fell to the Kings 6-4. Chris Stewart, Alex Pietrangelo and David Perron each had a goal and assist for St. Louis. Jaroslav Halak gave up five goals on 21 shots before giving way to Brian Elliot in the third. The Blues head to Phoenix to play the Coyotes tomorrow night.
Cardinals Back To Work Today
(Jupiter, FL) -- The Cardinals are back in action today as they play the Marlins in Jupiter. St. Louis had the first of its three scheduled off days yesterday. The Redbirds are 4-and-5 this spring with one tie. Jake Westbrook is slated as the starter for today's game.
Missouri Pounds Arkansas
(Columbia, MO) -- Missouri had no issues with Arkansas, picking up a 93-63 win over the Razorbacks on Senior Night from Mizzou Arena. Laurence Bowers had 24 points and 11 rebounds while Jabari Brown added 23 points in the win. The Tigers moved to 22-and-8 with an 11-and-6 SEC record. Mizzou wraps up the regular season Saturday at Tennessee.
Illini Fall Flat At Iowa
(Iowa City, IA) -- Brandon Paul had 15 points and nine rebounds but Illinois fell short at Iowa last night, 62-52. D.J. Richardson added 13 points for the Fighting Illini, who fell to 21-and-10 with an 8-and-9 record in Big Ten play. The Illini wrap up the regular season at Ohio State on Sunday.
SLU Battles Xavier
(Cincinnati, OH) -- Saint Louis is in Cincinnati to face Xavier tonight from the Cintas Center. The Billikens were ranked 15th in the latest "USA Today" top-25 poll.
