GCS Vendor Open House Fundraiser galesburg christian school

The Galesburg Christian School JR/SR High will have a vendor open house on Thursday, March 14th featuring products by Scentsy and Pampered Chef. All proceeds go to GCS.

 

 

SAFETY - UTAH CONCEALED FIREARM PERMIT COURSECSC

Friday, March 15th and Saturday, March 16th. Located at Carl Sandburg College Building G. If you would like to be able to carry a firearm in most states around this country, then this course if for you! The Utah CFP permit training course is four (4) hours and the permit is valid for five (5) years. This Utah permit is recognized by thirty-one (31) states for Illinois residents. The class cost does not include the $51 registration fee payable to the state of Utah. Students will receive fingerprint cards and a photo will be taken at the class. Discovery Depot Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 16th from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Come to Discovery Depot for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! The hunt will begin at 10:00 am and there are lots of eggs for both toddlers and older children! The hunt will continue as long as supplies last.

Whole-Hog Sausage and Pancake Breakfast and Bake Sale
Knox County Right to Life invites you to attend their breakfast on Sunday, March 24th from 8-1:30 pm. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, applesauce, juice, milk, and bottomless coffee. Suggested donation: $4 for adults, $2 for children under 12, $15 family maximum. The breakfast will be located at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1556 E. Fremont St., Galesburg.

 

 

24th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

On Sunday, March 24th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Hy-Vee and the City of Galesburg Recreation Division host the largest Easter Egg Hunt in Knox County for youth, 2 years of age-6th grade.  There will be 12,000 colorful eggs filled with candy decorating Lake Storey Park.  The Easter Bunny will be visiting so be sure to bring your camera.  Youth are divided into age categories.  There will be 100 gold prize eggs.  Grand prize bikes and much more.  Bring your basket for all of the goodies. We are pleased to announce the Illinois Development Council (IDC) is again teaming up with the Illinois Chamber of Commerce to present our fifth annual Economic Development in Illinois awards - the Edies!


The Edies honor those who imagine, design, invest, build and bring jobs, growth and prosperity to Illinois communities.
