Canucks Edge Blues
(Vancouver, British Columbia) -- Daniel Sedin [[ suh-DEEN ]] tallied a goal and an assist during a three-goal second period as the Canucks held off the Blues 3-2. Jaden Schwartz and Patrik Berglund both scored third period goals for St. Louis, which had won its previous three. The Blues continue their three-game Canadian road swing in Edmonton on Saturday.
Cards Clip Marlins
(Jupiter, FL) -- Matt Carpenter drove in two runs and Allen Craig smacked a solo home run as the Cardinals held off the Marlins, 5-4. The Cards jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the sixth inning, and Miami scored four times in the top of the seventh. Shelby Miller gave up one hit in four innings for the win. Mitchell Boggs picked up his first save of the spring. The Cardinals are off today and are at the Mets on Thursday.
Billikens Battle New Mexico State
(San Jose, CA) -- The fourth-seeded Saint Louis Billikens battle the 13th-seeded New Mexico Aggies in San Jose, California tomorrow. The Billikens are 27-and-6 after winning the Atlantic 10 Tournament, while the WAC champions are 24-and-10. The winner moves on to face Oklahoma State or Oregon in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
Mizzou Meets Colorado State
(Lexington, KY) -- The Missouri Tigers are in Lexington, Kentucky tomorrow night facing the eight-seeded Colorado State Rams. The ninth-seeded Tigers are 23-and-10 in their first season in the SEC. The Rams earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament at 25-and-8 out of the Mountain West Conference.
