Rams Gear Up For Draft
(St. Louis, MO) -- The Rams are gearing up for this week's NFL Draft. Head coach Jeff Fisher and GM Les Snead offered little insight into the team's plans at Monday's pre-draft press conference. The Rams have the 16th and 22nd picks in the first round, thanks to last year's draft day trade with Washington. The draft starts Thursday in New York.
Long Restructures Rams Deal
(St. Louis, MO) -- Defensive end Chris Long is providing some salary cap relief for the Rams. According to the "Post-Dispatch," Long has agreed to a restructured contract that reduces his 2013 cap hit from 13.25-million-dollars to 8.75-million. That frees up money for the team to sign its upcoming draft picks and possibly re-sign safety Quintin Mikell.
