(New York, NY) -- The Bears closed out their NFL Draft on Saturday in New York. Chicago made Washington State wide receiver Marquess Wilson its final pick in the seventh round. The Bears also selected Georgia linebacker Cornelius Washington in the sixth and Louisiana Tech tackle Jordan Mills in the fifth.
Te'o Lands With San Diego

The embattled star saw his draft stock fall to the second round where he was selected by the Chargers. Bulls Resume Series With Nets Tonight
(Brooklyn, NY) -- The Bulls and Nets resume their Eastern Conference quarterfinal tonight in Brooklyn for Game Five. Chicago edged the Nets in triple-overtime Saturday to take a three to one lead. Game Six of the series will be Thursday in Chicago and if necessary, Game Seven is Saturday in Brooklyn. The winner of the series plays the Heat.
Michael Jordan Weds In Florida
(Palm Beach, FL) -- Former Bulls star Michael Jordan was married over the weekend in Florida. People.com says Jordan tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Yvette Prieto on Saturday. About 500 guests attended the ceremony while 15-hundred were invited to the reception. It's the second marriage for Jordan, whose 17-year marriage to Juanita Vanoy ended in 2006.
Blackhawks Learn First-Round Opponent
(Chicago, IL) -- The Blackhawks are gearing up for a first-round playoff series against the Minnesota Wild. Chicago closed out the regular season on Saturday night with a loss at St. Louis. Minnesota clinched its spot with a victory over Colorado on Saturday and is in the postseason for the first time in five years. The best-of-seven set gets underway tomorrow night.
Cubs Fail To Sweep Marlins
(Miami, FL) -- Carlos Villanueva gave up four runs in six innings as the Cubs lost to the Marlins, 6-4. Dioner Navarro hit a solo homer while Starlin Castro was 2-for-4 with two RBI in the loss. Despite the setback, Chicago took three-of-four from Miami over the weekend. The Cubbies now sit at 9-and-15 on the year.
Cubs Return Home To Host Padres
(Chicago, IL) -- The Cubs return home tonight to start a four-game series with the San Diego Padres at Wrigley Field. Jeff Samardzija will take the mound for Chicago against Friars left-hander Clayton Richard. The Pad Squad swept the Giants at home over the weekend. Both San Diego and Chicago are 9-and-15 on the year.
White Sox Fall To Rays
(Chicago, IL) -- The White Sox blew an early two-run lead and fell to the Rays yesterday, 8-3. Paul Konerko hit a two-run homer and Adam Dunn had an RBI single for Chicago, which lost the final two of the four-game series to settle for a split. Nate Jones took the loss in relief. The Sox are now 10-and-14 on the year.
Sox Place Floyd On DL
(Chicago, IL) -- The White Sox placed starter Gavin Floyd on the 15-day disabled list yesterday with a flexor muscle strain in his right arm. Floyd left Saturday's loss in the third inning after just 47 pitches. The right-hander is 0-and-4 with a 5.18 ERA in five starts this year. Deunte Heath was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte while Hector Santiago takes Floyd's rotation spot.
White Sox Start Set In Texas Tomorrow
(Arlington, TX) -- The White Sox hit the road to start a three-game series with the Rangers in Texas tomorrow night. It's the start of an eight-game trip for Chicago, which will head to Kansas City and New York for an interleague series with the Mets after the set in Texas.
