Cardinals Cruise By Brewers

(Milwaukee, WI)  --  Matt Holliday scored three times and smacked a two-run home run to help the Cardinals crush the Brewers, 10-1.  Allen Craig knocked in four runs and scored once for St. Louis, which has won six games in-a-row.  Jon Jay and Shane Robinson also touched home twice in the win.  Jaime [[ HY-may ]] Garcia gave up eight hits and the lone run as he moved to 4-and-1.

Cardinals Off, Open Series Tuesday

(Chicago, IL)  --  The Cardinals get today off, then open a two-game series against the Cubs at Wrigley Field beginning tomorrow.  St. Louis has won six straight games and is atop the NL Central at 20-and-11.  Lance Lynn gets the start Tuesday.

Cubs Lose Fourth Straight

(Chicago, IL)  --  Todd Frazier was 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI as the Reds rolled the Cubs, 7-4.  Edwin Jackson dropped to 0-and-5 after giving up four runs in five innings.  Alfonso Soriano knocked in two runs for Chicago, which has lost four-in-a-row.

Blues Look To Win Game Four

(Los Angeles, CA)  --  The Blues are in L.A. for Game Four of their first-round NHL playoff series against the Kings tonight at the Staples Center.  St. Louis leads the series 2-1 after dropping Game Three.  The Blues have allowed just three goals in the series so far.
