(Queens, NY) -- The St. Louis Cardinals are well represented in tonight's MLB All-Star Game from Citi Field. Catcher Yadier Molina and outfielder Carlos Beltran are both starting for the National League. Beltran is hitting second and Molina is sixth. Allen Craig and Matt Carpenter are available off the bench along with starting pitcher Adam Wainwright. Closer Edward Mujica was a late addition to the roster. Starter Travis Wood is the only representative for the Cubs.
>>Carpenter Makes Rehab Start
(Springfield, MO) -- Chris Carpenter made his first rehab start last night for the Cardinals Double-A affiliate, the Springfield Cardinals. Carpenter allowed six hits and three runs, two of which were earned, in two-and-two-thirds innings. Carpenter struck out five and walked two as he took the loss. In other Cards news, pitcher Keith Butler was sent down to Triple-A Memphis.

(St. Louis, MO) -- The St. Louis Blues announced their 2013-2014 preseason schedule yesterday. They will play six contests, three at home, two on the road and one at a neutral site. The first game for the Blues is September 15th against the Stars in Dallas.
