(Flushing, NY) -- The Cubs and White Sox will each have representation at tonight's MLB All-Star Game from Citi Field in New York. Pitcher Travis Wood is the lone player from the Cubs. Pitchers Chris Sale and Jesse Crain will represent the White Sox. Crain is on the disabled list and will not participate. The Mets' Matt Harvey will start for the National League while the Tigers' Max Scherzer gets the ball for the American League. The winning league will get homefield advantage in the World Series. First pitch is set for 8:00.

(Madrid, Spain) -- Bulls guard Derrick Rose is ready to return to game action. After sitting out all of last season following reconstructive knee surgery, Rose tells reporters at an event in Spain that he is 100-percent and he will definitely play in the Bulls' first game. Rose faced scrutiny last year after he was medically cleared to return, but didn't feel ready to do so.

(Las Vegas, NV) -- Andrew Goudelock scored 31 points to help the Bulls in a 93-81 win over the Nuggets last night in Las Vegas Summer League action. Erik Murphy scored 18 points while Malcolm Thomas had 13 points and 22 rebounds. Chicago improved to 2-and-0 with the win. The Bulls will take on the Portland Trail Blazers tonight.
>>Bears' Melton To Play Under Franchise Tag
(Lake Forest, IL) -- Bears defensive tackle Henry Melton did not reach an agreement on a long-term deal with the team prior to yesterday's deadline, meaning he'll play this season under the franchise tag. Melton will earn almost eight-and-a-half-million dollars under the one-year tender which he had previously signed. The 26-year-old has 13 sacks over the past two seasons which ranks second among defensive tackles in the NFL.
>>Sky Return To Action Thursday
(Rosemont, IL) -- The Sky are preparing for their next contest. Chicago ran its winning streak to three straight with Friday night's 83-70 victory over the Connecticut Sun and is now 10-and-4 on the year. The Sky return to action Thursday morning with a road game against the New York Liberty.
