(Queens, NY) -- Four of the six Cardinals All-Stars got into the All-Star Game Tuesday at Citi Field. Carlos Beltran was the only one of four position players to get a hit in the American League's 3-0 win over the National League. Closer Edward Mujica and starter Adam Wainwright didn't pitch. Allen Craig, Matt Carpenter and Yadier Molina went hitless.

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Cardinals will start the second half of the baseball season on Friday with a series against San Diego. Jake Westbrook gets the start against former Card Jason Marquis. St. Louis is 57-and-36 with a slim one-game lead over Pittsburgh in the NL Central.

(St. Louis, MO) -- Right wing Chris Stewart will take the Blues to salary arbitration on July 22nd unless he and the team reach an agreement on a contract extension before then. Stewart played on a one-year, 3-million-dollar contract last year. He went on to lead the Blues in goals with 18.
