(Undated) -- The Chicago Bulls have allowed the Philadelphia 76ers to speak with assistant coaches Ed Pinckney and Adrian Griffin for their head coaching vacancy. ESPN reports neither coach has been interviewed but Philly general manager Sam Hinkie is doing his research. The Sixers will also reportedly look at Celtics assistant Jay Larranaga and Nuggets assistant Melvin Hunt.

(Las Vegas, NV) -- The Chicago Bulls play the Miami Heat tonight at the Las Vegas Summer League. The Bulls earned a bye in the first round with the second-seed. The Heat defeated the New York Knicks 113-66 last night.

(Newark, NJ) -- The Chicago Sky and New York Liberty play the first of a two-game home-and-home set today in Newark. The Sky have won three straight to move to 10-and-4 on the season. The Sky host the Liberty on Saturday.
>>Blackhawks Agree With Beach
(Undated) -- The Chicago Blackhawks have agreed to terms with forward Kyle Beach on a one-year contract. Beach posted 16 goals and 10 assists with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League last season. He was selected 11th overall in the 2008 draft.
>>IL Tops PCL In Triple-A All-Star Game
(Reno, NV) -- Tony Sanchez blasted a three-run home run in the top of the second inning to give the International League the lead for good as they defeated the Pacific Coast League 4-3 in Reno at the Triple-A All-Star Game. The Pirates catching prospect earned the "Top Star" for the IL. Chris Colabello of the Twins knocked in the other run for the IL, which has won four of the last five in this series. Chris Rusin of the Cubs tossed a scoreless relief inning with two strikeouts. Steve Tolleson of the White Sox was 0-for-1.

(Denver, CO) -- The Chicago Cubs start the second half of the season on the road. The Cubs play the first of three games in Colorado against the Rockies tomorrow night. The Cubs send Jeff Samardzija to the hill opposite Jorge De La Rosa. Chicago is 42-and-51 so far this season.

(Chicago, IL) -- The Chicago White Sox open the second half of the season tomorrow night at home against the Atlanta Braves. The Sox send John Danks to the hill against Tim Hudson of Atlanta. Chicago finished the first half at 37-and-55.
