(Hoover, AL) -- The Southeastern Conference announced its all-conference teams and predicted order of finish for the Eastern and Western Division. Defensive back E.J. Gaines was the lone member of Missouri named to a team. He is a part of the third-team. The Tigers were selected to end in sixth in the East.

(Earth City, MO) -- St. Louis rookies are expected to report to training camp on Sunday at the teams training center in Earth City. The veterans will join them at Rams Park Training Center on Wednesday. The preseason begins on August 8th at the Cleveland Browns.
>>Walker Watch List Announced
(Undated) -- The PwC SMU Athletic Forum announced its 2013 Doak Walker Award watch list yesterday. The award is given annually to the nation's top running back. Henry Josey of Missouri is among the 60-plus backs on the list.
>>Carpenter To Rehab With Memphis Tomorrow
(Memphis, TN) -- St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Chris Carpenter is rehabbing with Triple-A Memphis tomorrow night against Oklahoma City. Carpenter is on the disabled list and working his way back from shoulder problems. He threw over 50 pitches in his first rehab assignment on Monday with Double-A Springfield.

(St. Louis, MO) -- The St. Louis Cardinals resume their season tonight at home against the San Diego Padres. Jake Westbrook gets the nod for St. Louis against Jason Marquis from the Padres. St. Louis is 57-and-36 and in first place in the NL Central.
>>Cubs At Rockies
(Denver, CO) -- The Chicago Cubs start the second half of the season on the road. The Cubs play the first of three games in Colorado against the Rockies tonight. The Cubs send Jeff Samardzija to the hill opposite Jorge De La Rosa. Chicago is 42-and-51 so far this season.
