In IHSA volleyball action last night, The A-Town Tornadoese topped United in two games 25-21, 25-21. Taylor Cudd led the Tornadoes in service points with nine and kills with six, while Becca Stipp finished with 15 assists and Brittney Talbert notched two aces. Brea Simkins led the Red Storm with nine assists, while Jenn Price was the leader in kills with seven, Maddie Ballard finished with three aces and Miranda Tharp ended the game with 28 digs.

In Knoxville, The Blue Bullets opened its season with a 25-21 and 25-20 victory over Stark County.  Karsen Hiese led the Blue Bullets with 12 assists. Madison Corzatt had nine digs and six kills, Morgan Rupert had four aces and Paige Putnam had two blocks for Knoxville.

 

At Cambridge, the Ridgewood High School volleyball team dropped two straight sets 25-17 and 25-13 against Riverdale.
