>>Bears' Cutler To Miss Next Week's Game

(Lake Forest, IL)  --  The Bears will be without quarterback Jay Cutler when they host the Ravens this week.  Cutler is being considered week-to-week with a high ankle sprain suffered in Sunday's loss to Detroit.  Josh McCown will be under center when Chicago hosts Baltimore this Sunday at Soldier Field.

>>Bears Lose Tillman To Injury

(Lake Forest, IL)  --  The Bears have placed cornerback Charles Tillman on injured reserve with a designation to return.  Tillman suffered a triceps injury on Sunday.  The Bears would have to make the playoffs for him to play again this season.

>>Bulls Drop Cavaliers

Chicago, IL)  --  Derrick Rose posted 16 points and seven assists as the Bulls notched a 96-81 win over the Cavaliers last night.  Carlos Boozer had 17 points and seven rebounds for Chicago, which moved to 3-and-3 on the year.  The Bulls play at Toronto on Friday.

>>Rose Exits Bulls' Win

(Chicago, IL)  --  Bulls guard Derrick Rose departed last night's win over the Cavaliers with a hamstring injury.  Rose came up lame after driving down the lane for a layup with just under four minutes left.  Head coach Tom Thibodeau says the injury appears to be minor, but that Rose would be re-evaluated today.

>>College Hoops Champions Classic Tonight

(Chicago, IL) --  Some of college basketball's premier programs are in town tonight for the annual Champions Classic.  Top-ranked Kentucky will take on number-two Michigan State with tip-off scheduled for 6:30 from United Center.  That game will be followed with fourth-ranked Duke meeting number-six Kansas.

>>Cubs Have Interest In Japanese Star Tanaka

(Orlando, FL)  --  The Cubs are looking overseas for talent.  General manager Jed Hoyer says the team has interest in acquiring Japanese star Masahiro Tanaka.  The right-hander went 24-and-0 for Tohoku Rakuten this season in the Nippon Professional Baseball League.  The Yankees and Dodgers are also reportedly interested.

>>Blackhawks Off Until Thursday

(Chicago, IL) --  The Blackhawks have a few more days before getting back on the ice.  Chicago hosts the Phoenix Coyotes Thursday night at United Center.  The 'Hawks moved to 12-2-and-4 with Sunday's 5-4 victory over Edmonton.  The 'Yotes take on the Blues in St. Louis tonight.

>>College Teams Gear Up For Football Games

A number of local college football teams are getting set for their next games.  Illinois plays host to third-ranked Ohio State on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium.  Northwestern is home to face Michigan at Ryan Field later that day.  Notre Dame is off until hosting BYU on November 23rd.
