Roman Polak had tied the contest early in the third for St. Louis. Maxim Lapierre also scored for the Blues while Jaroslav Halak notched 16 saves. St. Louis had won six out of seven, including three straight. It hosts Colorado on Thursday.

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Blues have added defenseman Carlo Colaicovo on a one-year contract, the "St. Louis Post-Dispatch" reports. Colaicovo is a former number-one pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs and played for the Blues from 2008 to 2012. He was most recently with the Detroit Red Wings. His signing is pending a physical.

(Columbia, MO) -- Missouri redshirt freshman Maty Mauk is the SEC Freshman of the Week for the third time this season. Mauk threw for five touchdowns in Mizzou's 48-17 win over Kentucky last Saturday. His time as the starting quarterback is over, as senior James Franklin will return from injury this week.
