(Chicago, IL) -- Brandon Pirri scored the winning goal in the fourth round of the shootout as the Blackhawks clipped the Coyotes 5-4 at the United Center. Pirri also scored the tying goal in the third period for the 'Hawks, who have won four in-a-row and seven-of-eight overall. Brandon Saad, Patrick Sharp and Marian Hossa also lit the lamp. Corey Crawford made 26 saves in the victory. The Blackhawks are at Nashville tomorrow and host San Jose on Sunday.

(Chicago, IL) -- The Chicago Blackhawks are adding forward Kris Versteeg from the Florida Panthers. The Blackhawks also received forward Phillippe Lefebrve in the trade. The Panthers get forward Jimmy Hayes and defenseman Dylan Olsen. Versteeg was on the Blackhawks when they won the championship in 2010. He has seven points in 18 games this season.

(Chicago, IL) -- The Chicago Blackhawks placed forward Michal Handzus on injured reserve and recalled forward Alex Broadhurst from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. Handzus has missed the last eight games with an upper-body injury. The move is retroactive to October 25th. The 36-year-old Handzus has one goal and two assists in nine games this season.

(Deerfield, IL) -- The Chicago Bulls were without guard Derrick Rose for the second straight practice yesterday. Rose injured his hamstring in the win over the Cavaliers on Monday. He is a game-time decision for tonight's matchup with the Toronto Raptors.

(Chicago, IL) -- The Chicago Bears host the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. The Bears will be without quarterback Jay Cutler. Josh McCown will start in his place. Chicago is 5-and-4 overall after a loss to Detroit last weekend. Baltimore is 4-and-5 following a 20-17 win over Cincinnati in Week 10.
